Week 6 Quarterback Rankings Outlooks
Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford will look to build on a strong stretch of games as he takes on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. Over his last two games, Stafford has completed 59 passes for 764 yards, six touchdowns, and zero interceptions, ranking as the overall QB1 during that span.
The veteran quarterback has shown that he can produce against strong defenses, so his Week 6 matchup against a very poor Ravens defense is all the more exciting. Baltimore has allowed the second-most fantasy points, the third-most passing yards, and the most passing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks in 2025. They also have just one interception. Seeing Stafford post a third consecutive game with three touchdowns and zero interceptions is not out of the picture. He should be started as a mid-to-low QB1 in fantasy football.
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been on another level lately. Over the last two games, Prescott has thrown for 556 yards with seven touchdowns and zero interceptions. He's missing his top wide receiver in CeeDee Lamb (ankle), but somehow is putting together fantastic numbers without him.
Now, Prescott heads into a plus-matchup against the Carolina Panthers defense in Week 6. The 32-year-old has found a way to get it done without Lamb, and he figures to do it again on Sunday. Fantasy managers should consider Prescott a top-tier QB1 for this weekend.
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (knee, arm) was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 6 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Mayfield has been nursing some minor injuries, but he will be fine for this weekend.
Last week, Mayfield threw for a season-high 379 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions in the win over the Seattle Seahawks. The Bucs are banged up on offense with Bucky Irving (foot), Mike Evans (hamstring), and Chris Godwin (leg) likely all out this weekend. Despite that, Mayfield will find a way to succeed and remain an elite QB1 play.
Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love had an excellent game for fantasy managers who started him in Week 4 against Dallas, tossing three touchdown passes to wide receiver Romeo Doubs and piling up 337 passing yards. He'll look to continue that strong play in Week 6 when the Packers host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6. Love finished as fantasy's QB6 in Week 4, his first weekly finish as a top-ten quarterback since Week 6 of last season.
It was also Love's first game with over 40 passing attempts since Week 4 of 2024. Passing volume isn't common for the Packers; it's more of an exception than the rule. If you're starting Love in Week 6, you're hoping the Bengals can score a bit, so the Packers get pushed to pass a bit more. Ultimately, Love is a viable starting quarterback for fantasy managers against a porous Bengals defense.
Mac Jones, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones (knee, oblique) is expected to draw his fourth start of the season with Brock Purdy (toe) declared out. Jones himself is tagged as questionable on the team's final injury report for Week 6, but the team feels "pretty good about where he's going to be at," according to general manager John Lynch. Jones has performed well in Purdy's stead, averaging 301.7 passing yards per game and throwing six touchdowns to one interception in his previous three starts.
On Sunday, he will face a Tampa Bay defense that has allowed four top-12 finishes to opposing quarterbacks through five games. However, Jones' injuries, along with Ricky Pearsall (knee) being declared out and Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) listed as questionable, will limit his ceiling. Jones projects as a low-end QB2 in Week 6. He may be a suitable candidate for two-QB leagues, but he is a risky start in traditional formats.
