Justin Fields Won't Lose Starting Gig
Justin Fields (concussion) will remain the team's starter once clearing concussion protocol. "Justin came in as our starter," Glenn said. "He's been our starter. Tyrod was the backup...So once Justin is clear, I'll let you know exactly where we're going." It sounds like New York's new head coach isn't willing to give up on the 26-year-old QB just yet. With the Jets squaring off against the Dolphins on Monday Night Football, we may not receive an update regarding Fields until later in the week, but as of now, he should be on track to suit up for that contest. However, if he can't, it'll be backup Tyrod Taylor calling signals once more. The Ohio State product will be one to monitor over the coming week.
