John Hunter Nemechek Qualifies 29th at New Hampshire
One of the hottest drivers in the Cup Series right now (relatively speaking) is John Hunter Nemechek, as the No. 42 Legacy Motor Club team has turned things up a notch as of late, showing more speed than they have all season. Finish-wise, Nemechek has posted finishes of 17th or better in six of the last eight races overall, and he could be poised to amke that seven of the last nine after this weekend's Mobil 1 301 at New Hampshire. JHN walked away with an eighth-place finish in last year's race at New Hampshire, although that was more due to the fact that he excelled at racing in wet conditions more than anything. This weekend, John Hunter will roll off the starting grid from 29th-place, giving him a lot of room for Place Differential upside at a track type that he has ran well at this season. Nemechek came home 14th at Phoenix back in March, and also ran sixth at Pocono, 12th at Indianapolis, and 15th at Iowa.
