Jaxon Smith-Njigba Looks to Continue Dominating in Week 3
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is in another great position to succeed in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints have a solid defense, but they have allowed big games to Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle) over the first two weeks of the season. JSN has established excellent early chemistry with quarterback Sam Darnold, and has turned in two 100-yard receiving efforts to open the season. Smith-Njigba has been lacking in the touchdown department, which has tamped down his ceiling. However, that could change in Week 3 with the Seahawks becoming increasingly more comfortable in their new offense under coordinator Klint Kubiak. Smith-Njigba enters Week 3 as the WR13. He has finished as a fringe WR1 in each of the first two games of the season. Expect that level of production to continue in Week 3, with upside for more.
