Jackson Holliday Back in the Lineup on Friday
Jackson Holliday (undisclosed) is starting at second base and will bat leadoff for Friday's contest at Camden Yards against the division-rival New York Yankees and right-hander Will Warren. Holliday got the day off on Thursday in the series opener because he's been nicked up of late, but he'll be back in there on Friday. The 21-year-old former first overall pick hasn't looked nicked up at the plate lately, as he's hit .324 (22-for-68) with two home runs and five steals in his last 18 games. Although it's a small sample size against Warren, Holliday has seen the ball well off him, batting .400 with an .800 OPS in five at-bats. In his first full season in the major leagues in 2025 for the O's as their starting second baseman, Holliday enters Friday's action slashing .250/.321/.390 with 17 long balls, 55 RBI, 68 runs scored, and 17 steals in 142 games. Get him back into your lineups.
