Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Remains Out on Wednesday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (hamstring) is out of the lineup against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. Ty France will take over at first base and bat sixth in a meeting with right-hander Johan Oviedo. Guerrero hasn't played since he left a 5-2 loss to the Pirates early on Monday with tightness in his left hamstring, but the Blue Jays don't regard it as a serious injury. The team is off on Thursday, which will give Guerrero an extra day to recuperate, and the five-time All-Star slugger could return to the lineup Friday in Miami.
