Kansas City Royals first baseman Jac Caglianone (hamstring) is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday. Caglianone was cleared for baseball activities last week, now he's ready to take the next step. The rookie slugger has been sidelined since late July due to a hamstring strain. The expectation is that he'll need a handful of games to get back into the swing of things. He should be ready to rejoin the Royals lineup by late August. Fantasy managers should check back for another update on his status later in the week.--Andy Webb
