The Colorado Rockies announced on Friday that they placed infielder Orlando Arcia (elbow) on the 10-day injured list with right-elbow inflammation and selected the contract of infielder Aaron Schunk from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move. The Rockies also moved infielder Thairo Estrada (hamstring) from the 10-day IL to the 60-day IL. Arcia injured his elbow on Tuesday and is now going to miss at least another week. The Rockies also called up infield prospect Kyle Karros on Friday. It's unclear who will start at the hot corner for the Rockies on Friday night, but they could rotate Karros, Kyle Farmer and Warming Bernabel at the position while Arcia is sidelined. The 31-year-old Arcia has not been a fantasy asset, even in deep leagues, since joining the Rockies midseason, as he's gone 29-for-156 (.186) with only three homers, eight RBI and eight runs on the entire year.--Keith Hernandez
