T.J. Hockenson Remains Sidelined on Monday
T.J. Hockenson (groin) remained sidelined at training camp practice on Monday. O'Connell said Hockenson is dealing with some "day-to-day bumps." Hockenson reportedly suffered a minor groin injury during practice on Saturday and hasn't been on the field since. The 28-year-old was walking with a noticeable limp over the weekend, and it remains to be seen when he'll rejoin the rest of the team at camp. Until we hear more, it sounds like an injury that shouldn't keep Hock from being ready for Week 1 in early September. He got a late start in 2024 while recovering from ACL surgery and finished with 41 catches, 455 yards and no touchdowns in 10 regular-season games (nine starts) in his second year in Detroit. If Hockenson is healthy in 2025, he'll be a midrange TE1 while working with quarterback J.J. McCarthy.
