Bryce Eldridge Logs Two-Homer Game on Saturday
Bryce Eldridge smacked a pair of home runs in a 2-for-4 day at the plate on Saturday for Triple-A Sacramento, collecting three RBI in the process. The Giants' top-ranked prospect is 12-for-44 (.273) with six home runs and 16 RBI over his last 11 games, and could push for a late-season call-up if he continues to flex his power. The 20-year-old began the season at Double-A and is now slashing .261/.326/.506 with 16 home runs in 66 games between the two levels. A 30.2 percent strikeout rate at Triple-A should give fantasy managers pause before they go out and stash him in redraft leagues, but long-term, the future looks bright.
