St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lars Nootbaar (ribs) was activated off the 10-day injured list on Saturday. Nootbaar is back in the mix after landing on the injured list in mid-July due to a ribs issue. The lineup isn't posted yet for Saturday's game versus the San Diego Padres. Regardless, Nootbaar figures to return to his everyday spot in the outfield. Before going down Nootbaar was slashing .227/.332/.381 with 12 home runs and 37 RBI in 88 games. He's not much of a fantasy option right now. In a corresponding move, infielder Jose Fermin has been optioned to the minors.--Andy Webb
