Atlanta Braves closer Raisel Iglesias is among the relievers "under consideration" for the Chicago Cubs as Thursday's trade deadline nears, Patrick Mooney and Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic report. With the Braves out of contention and Iglesias due to become a free agent at the end of the season, he's a logical candidate to go to a contender in the next few days. The 35-year-old has been a shutdown option for a large portion of his career, but he has blown five of 16 save chances this season while managing an unappealing 5.06 ERA over 40 2/3 innings this season. Iglesias still boasts an impressive 46:10 K:BB with a solid 1.23 WHIP, though, and has at least been less shaky in the past month and a half. He'd presumably serve as a setup option in Chicago, which has received great production from closer Daniel Palencia.--Connor Byrne
