Jordan Addison 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Strong WR2 for Vikings Facing Potential Suspension
Jordan Addison has clouded his 2025 fantasy value a bit. Addison pleaded guilty to a lesser offense relating to his DUI arrest and will pay a fine and be on probation, but that doesn't mean that the NFL won't suspend him for a few games. Potential suspension aside, the 23-year-old former 23rd overall pick in 2023 out of USC has proven to be an above-average WR2 for the Vikings in All-Pro Justin Jefferson's shadow. He impressed with a 70-911-10 line in 17 games (14 starts) in his rookie year, and although he took a slight step back in 2024, Addison still had a productive 63 receptions on 99 targets for 875 yards and nine touchdowns in 15 regular-season games while serving as the WR1 when Jefferson was injured. He did miss two games with an ankle injury last year, but Addison has proved durable despite a slight 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame. He's gone from Kirk Cousins, Sam Darnold, and now to J.J. McCarthy at QB, and with limited targets, Addison is going to need to remain efficient with big plays in order to maintain his status as an above-average WR2 in Minnesota. With the uncertainty around how McCarthy will do in his first year as the starter and Addison's potential suspension, he has fallen to low-end WR3/high-end WR4 territory in fantasy. RotoBaller has Addison ranked as the No. 37 fantasy wideout.
