Juan Soto Smacks Two More Homers
Juan Soto went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in his team's 7-3 win against the visiting Atlanta Braves. Soto kicked off a big five-run fourth inning with a dinger and also capped the scoring for the Mets in the seventh with homer No. 19 of the season. The 26-year-old has been scorching at the dish in June with an otherworldly .325/.485/.753 triple slash across 77 at-bats. Over that stretch, he's tallied ten long balls, three doubles, 22 runs scored, 18 RBI, and more walks (23) than strikeouts (15). Wednesday marked his fourth multi-homer effort of the campaign, and second in the last week.
