Kutter Crawford Not "Feeling Great"
Kutter Crawford (knee, wrist) wasn't "feeling great," which is why he's back to playing catch instead of throwing bullpen sessions. It's a setback for Crawford, who has yet to pitch in 2025. The 29-year-old made a career-high 33 starts last year, lost a league-high 16 games and allowed a league-high 34 home runs, and then injured his knee in spring training. A wrist injury has given him problems of late, and he doesn't appear to be close to returning from the 60-day injured list. At this point, fantasy managers in deeper leagues shouldn't expect Crawford back until sometime in the second half of the season. When/if Crawford makes it back in 2025, he won't be guaranteed a spot in Boston's starting rotation and might be ticketed for a long-relief role.
