Kyle Pitts Absent at OTAs
Kyle Pitts is a no-show on Tuesday for the start of the organized team activities, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Pitts is heading into the fifth-year option season of his rookie deal, so perhaps he's looking for a contract extension despite the fact that he's been a pretty big disappointment to this point after being selected with the fourth overall pick in 2021 out of Florida. There probably aren't a lot of fantasy managers that will want the 24-year-old as their TE1 in 2025 after he posted a 47-602-4 line in 17 games (15 starts) in 2024 in his fourth year in the league. Pitts just hasn't been able to replicate his rookie campaign in which he had 68 receptions for 1,026 yards and one touchdown. Perhaps Pitts comes alive while working with quarterback Michael Penix Jr., but he'll be a low-end TE1, at best, in fantasy drafts this fall.
