Hurston Waldrep Strikes Out Nine in Wednesday's Start
Hurston Waldrep allowed two runs on six hits and two walks with nine strikeouts over six innings Wednesday against Triple-A Louisville. He did not factor into the decision. Waldrep has strung together three quality outings in a row, with a 3.16 ERA and a 25:7 K:BB. The right-hander mowed down the Louisville lineup as he drew 20 swings and misses, which was tied for the lead in Triple-A Wednesday night. It doesn't seem likely that the 23-year-old will be up any time soon, but the Braves' rotation has already dealt with multiple injuries, making him a stash in fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams.
