Bryce Miller Plays Catch
Bryce Miller (elbow) played catch in the outfield before Wednesday's game in Chicago, his first activity since receiving a cortisone shot in his elbow on May 13. He had been dealing with elbow soreness through most of the season. There's still no clear timetable for his recovery, but the fact that he is beginning to throw again is good news. Especially when the elbow is involved, it's positive to see that this isn't looking like an extremely long absence.
