MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Expert Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks For Today (4/12/25)

Fernando Tatis Jr. - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Koby's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Saturday, 4/12/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We got a small Saturday main slate on tap for y’all. DraftKings has us slated with six games, but FanDuel has opted to omit the Pirates/Reds game and have a smaller five-game slate. We have some bangers, so let’s dig in!

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/12/2025, with the slate starting at 6:40 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Bryan Woo vs. TEX ($9.2K DraftKings; $9.8K FanDuel)

Bryan Woo benefits from a very pitcher-friendly park here in Seattle and is more than capable of going 6+ innings, as he has in both outings this year. The only downside to picking Woo is the potential for Seattle not putting up runs and therefore him not getting the win.

Bryce Miller had a solid night outside of the three walks, which we shouldn't have to worry about here with Woo, who has a low 6% BB%. The Rangers have a 21.2% K% against RHP this season, and Woo is sitting with a 23% K% himself and a solid 11% SwStr%. If Seattle can get him the run help, then we should see a 40+ night for Bryan Woo.

Andrew Heaney vs. CIN ($6.6K DraftKings)

This one is for those on DK. Heaney has been impressive at the start of the season, having just struck out 10 hitters in seven innings against the Yankees. He now gets an even better matchup against the Reds, who have been awful against LHP, putting up a .161 batting average and striking out 26.2% of the time.

Heaney is a great price, especially after his last outing. It looks like he is fully stretched out, going 100 pitches. So far, he has a 25.5% K% to go along with an 11.2% SwStr%. He also has a low 4.3% BB%, which should only benefit Heaney in the long run.

Also consider: Corbin Burnes vs. Brewers, Kumar Rocker vs. Mariners

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Josh Naylor - 1B, ARI vs. Chad Patrick ($4.7K DK; $3.2K FD)

Josh Naylor hasn't quite had the home-run production he did in Cleveland so far, but he is hitting the ball extremely well. He is batting .433 against RHP and gets a pitcher in Chad Patrick who throws the fastball quite a bit, which is right up Naylor's alley. Naylor has seven hits in his last five games, and that power could come back at any minute, which could lead to a homer.

Manny Machado – 3B, SDP vs. Chase Dollander ($5.6K DK; $3.7K FD)

Manny Machado might be one of the hottest hitters in the league right now. He has at least one hit in 10 of his last 11 games and five of those with at least two hits. He is hitting RHP for .355 this season with an OPS of .863. Manny hasn't been hitting the ball hard, but he has been hitting often enough to get on base and make it worth paying up for him, especially against a rookie pitcher.

Jorge Polanco – 3B, SEA vs. Kumar Rocker ($4.4K DK; $2.9K FD)

Jorge Polanco has been by far the best hitter for the Mariners this season, although he doesn't get the great benefit of a hitter-friendly park. That didn't stop him from smashing a home run on Jacob deGrom last night. He is batting .417 on the season so far while slugging .636. Right now, hitters are batting .361 against Kumar, and Polanco is one of the few guys from this Mariners lineup I trust to make something happen.

Also consider: Jose Altuve (HOU), Mookie Betts(LAD), Isaac Paredes(HOU), Xander Bogaerts(SDP)

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Fernando Tatis Jr. - OF, SDP vs. Chase Dollander ($6K DK; $4.2K FD)

Fernando Tatis Jr. has all the tools to take over this game. He is averaging almost 16 FP a game, and he is smashing RHP this season. He has averaged .419 and is slugging .645 against righties.

Dollander is still young and working everything out in the show, but won't be ready for this Padres offense that crushes RHP. Tatis has four hits in his last three games, two of those for home runs, so he has been hot recently.

Pavin Smith - OF, ARI vs. Chad Patrick ($4.2K DK; $2.9K FD)

Pavin Smith has been crushing against RHP. They have platooned him exclusively against RHP this season, and it's worked out as he is batting .429 and slugging .714 against them. He is hitting the ball extremely hard as well with a barrel% of 25% that has included five doubles and a homer.

Tommy Edman - OF, LAD vs. Ben Brown ($4.7K DK; $3.2K FD)

Tommy Edman has found himself quite at home in LA. He is batting .303 against Righties with a .988 OPS. Ben Brown has been getting crushed by RHH as they are hitting .370 against him. The Dodgers will likely have their way with Ben Brown, but I like Tommy Edman at his price point to start my Dodger stacks.

Also consider: Gavin Sheets (SDP), Shohei Ohtani (LAD), Andrew McCutchen(PIT), Corbin Carroll(ARI)

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. San Diego Padres vs. Chase Dollander

The Padres have an explosive offense to start the season. As a team, they are averaging .309 against RHP. They are also getting the benefit of going against rookie pitcher Chase Dollander, who looked a bit rough in his first outing. It might take him time to get settled in, and with that being said, the Padres are the last team I want to go against right now.

Fave combo - Tatis Jr., Machado, Sheets, Bogaerts, Lockridge

2. Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Chad Patrick

Like the Padres, the Diamondbacks have hit righties well this season. They are batting .275 against them with a league-leading .516 SLG!! Chad Patrick has been decent to start the season, but he hasn’t gone up against a tough offense like Arizona. Patrick isn’t striking guys out with his low 7.4% SwStr% and also sports a near 90% Z-Contact%, meaning when he threw strikes in the zone, players were making really good contact with it.

Fave combo - Carroll, Naylor, P. Smith, Suarez

3. Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Ben Brown

Ben Brown has gone through the gauntlet to start the season. The Athletics in a hitter-friendly park, the red-hot Padres, and now the Dodgers? Dodgers are hitting .253 against RHP with a .514 SLG. Ben Brown is sitting with a 7.71 ERA to start the season so far, and that could get worse here against the Dodgers.

Fave Combo - Ohtani, Betts, Edman, Freeman, Smith

Also consider: Astros vs. Tyler Anderson, Angels vs. Ryan Gusto (Bullpen game)
