Dallas Cowboys running back Dalvin Cook was elevated off the practice squad to play in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons. Cook made his Cowboy debut last weekend and tallied just 12 rushing yards off six attempts. He caught his lone target for ten yards. With Rico Dowdle (illness) sitting out, Cook was deployed as the No. 2 option in the backfield behind Ezekiel Elliott. However, with Dowdle expected to return to action, Cook will likely be in a depth role this weekend and not have an integral part in the offensive attack. Fantasy managers should view the 29-year-old as a handcuff option in deeper formats that has little to no standalone value.--Andy Smith
