Mikael Granlund Leads The Charge In First Sharks Win
San Jose Sharks forward Mikael Granlund produced three points as the team finally earned its first win of the season on Monday, beating Utah 5-4 in overtime. Granlund, who is working as the first-line center during Macklin Celebrini's (hip) absence, finished with one goal and two assists. All of his points came after the Sharks had fallen 4-1 behind ahead of the third period. San Jose appears to be heading toward another miserable campaign, but Granlund has still found a lot of success on a struggling team. He has scored in four consecutive games and sits on a six-game point streak. The 32-year-old boasts five goals and eight assists for the season with 10 games played.
