Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) capped off his first six games with the most miserable performance of his career, logging just -0.1 PPR fantasy points in Week 6. He had three carries for negative one yard and failed to catch his only target before exiting Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears prematurely.
His performance was a microcosm of the team's production in Week 6. There were miscues, turnovers, and drops to be had in great supply. But for fantasy managers, his week-losing performance has many questioning whether he's worth starting going forward.

Travis Etienne Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 7
If he does play, it may not be worth starting him. Losing snaps to Bigsby and Johnson wasn't thought to be on the menu by fantasy managers who drafted him around his ADP (around 17 overall or around the RB8). He's the RB32 in full-PPR scoring after six weeks and hasn't scored 15 or more PPR points yet.

The 2023 RB3 overall's production falloff is unprecedented. He looked like a complete back in 2023, playing in 16 games, logging over 1,000 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns along with 58 catches for 476 yards and one touchdown. He only averaged 3.8 yards per carry, though.
Coaching staff's pay attention to efficiency, and poor efficiency is one of the biggest leading indicators of a falloff in production the next season. Think Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White. Teams tend to start giving opportunities to other players in these scenarios. Etienne having under four yards per carry just isn't good right now.
If Etienne plays in Week 7, he's a risky start. He may lose substantial opportunities to Bigsby and even Johnson and isn't efficient enough to be a fantasy stud without a lot of volume, which he's unlikely to get.
