Tyler Lockett fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 5 (2024). Should you start or sit Tyler Lockett for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR44
ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett is the WR51 over the first four weeks, averaging 7.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran wide receiver scored 10.7 fantasy points in Week 1. However, he has scored fewer than 8.7 fantasy points in the other three contests since opening weekend.
Lockett has the fifth-most targets (26) in the NFL without scoring a touchdown this season. Surprisingly, his teammate, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, is first on this list with 33 targets.
Most targets this season without a receiving touchdown:
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (33)
George Pickens (29)
Michael Pittman (29)
Dallas Goedert (28)
Tyler Lockett (26)

While the veteran wide receiver is no longer a must-star option for fantasy players, Lockett is still an appealing flex option, especially this week with four teams on a bye. He faces a New York Giants defense that has surrendered 26.5 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, slightly above the league average.
Furthermore, the Giants have given up 136 receiving yards, 1.5 touchdowns, and 30.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the past two weeks. Lockett is a WR3 in deeper leagues and a solid flex option in standard-size leagues.
