Jordan Addison fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 5 (2024). Should you start or sit Jordan Addison for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison didn't seem to be bothered by the ankle injury he was returning from in Week 4's win over the Green Bay Packers. Addison caught three passes for 72 yards and a touchdown in that game. While we would've liked to see more targets, it was a good performance.
#Vikings WR Jordan Addison had a 100% separation percentage on Sunday, per @PFF. This means on his 9 opportunities, he produced separation on all of them. pic.twitter.com/GIZjQES8N0

It's important to note that the Packers secondary was in shambles as they were missing two key cornerbacks in Second-Team All Pro CB Jaire Alexander and CB Carrington Valentine. The Packers' secondary was then absolutely diced to bits by QB Sam Darnold and the Vikings' pass-catchers.
Addison is still an excellent route runner and good at getting separation against man coverage. It doesn't hurt that All-Pro WR Justin Jefferson is playing alongside him to draw away defensive attention. "Jadderall" has big upside for a WR2, and Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell runs a fantastic offense.
Usually you can't go wrong with good players on good offenses. Addison is worth starting this week regardless of opponent.
