Joanderson Brito suffered a controversial split-decision loss to William Gomis on the main card of UFC Paris. The majority of fans and media scored the fight 29-28 for Brito. It appeared that Brito was in control of the fight and would edge out a decision, but the judges saw it differently as they scored the fight 29-28, 28-29, and 29-28 in favor of Gomis.
