Veteran catcher Tucker Barnhart signed a minor-league deal with the Cincinnati Reds, the team with whom he played from 2014-2021. Barnhart began the season with the Arizona Diamondbacks, where he hit .173/.287/.210 with six RBI and 13 runs scored across 31 games. He has hit .241/.318/.351 with 53 homers, 292 RBI, and 254 runs scored in 912 regular season games with the Reds, Detroit Tigers, Chicago Cubs, and Diamondbacks.
