Austin Cindric has had two appearances at Charlotte in the past three seasons. The Team Penske driver has two DNF's and an average finish of 32.5. Cindric's average start in those races was 13.5 and he qualified 17th for Sunday's Coca-Cola 600. The No. 2 Ford was right behind teammate Ryan Blaney during qualifying (16th) and even some portions of practice. Since his 2022 season (Daytona 500 win), it has been gradually downhill for Cindric.
