ANALYSIS: Our #1 pitching prospect to stash in 2024 redraft leagues is 2023 #1 overall pick, Paul Skenes. When we entered spring training, we didn't think Skenes was going to be up until the second half of the season. Well, that was wrong. Pittsburgh assigned Skenes to Triple-A Indianapolis to open the season and some thought he had a legitimate chance to make the Major League roster out of camp.

Skenes likely won't be in Triple-A for long and dominated in his first outing of the season, tossing three perfect innings with five strikeouts while averaging 100.1 mph on his four-seamer. If you're looking for 2024's Eury Perez, Skenes has the best chance of making that major impact as a rookie.
