In Toyota Owners 400 qualifying at Richmond Raceway, Kyle Larson captured the pole position with the fastest time in the second round. Larson's pole will be the fourth time that he will start at the front at Richmond, as well as his first pole of the year. In 18 starts at RR, Larson has two wins, eight top-10 finishes, and only one finish outside of the Top 20. Larson is the defending winner of this week's race, where he also led 93 laps in April 2023. Larson is one of the top drivers of the year so far, with two top-5 finishes, including a win at Las Vegas, and only one finish outside of the Top 20 in the first six races of 2024. In practice, as a part of Group A, which dealt with faster track conditions, Larson displayed top-5 speeds in all categories and had the best overall lap average of all drivers. With Richmond being one of his better tracks, great equipment from Hendrick Motorsports, and starting position at the front, look for Larson to lead laps and compete for the win.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
