Free-agent safety Jeremy Chinn is expected to sign a one-year deal worth up to $5.1 million with the Washington Commanders, according to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report. The former second-round pick has spent his entire four-year NFL career with the Carolina Panthers, where he racked up 324 tackles, four sacks, three forced fumbles, two interceptions, and 17 passes defended in 54 games. He becomes the fifth defensive player Washington has agreed to terms with over the last two days, joining Dorance Armstrong, Frankie Luvu, Dante Fowler Jr., and Clelin Ferrell. New head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Adam Peters appear to be committed to improving from last year's defense that ranked dead-last in points per game allowed (30.5).--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerRead More News
