The Colorado Avalanche have acquired forward Brandon Duhaime from the Minnesota Wild. The return on the deal has yet to be disclosed. The 26-year-old has appeared in all 62 games for the Wild this season, recording four goals and eight points on 68 shots while averaging 10:41 of ice time per game. He is in his third NHL season and has accumulated 19 goals and 35 points across 193 games played after the Wild selected him in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. The Wild appear to be deadline sellers as they sit nine points back of the Nashville Predators for the second and final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference with three teams between them and the Preds.--Brenton Kemp
