        Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov stood on his head and stopped 44 shots while registering his third shutout of the season on Thursday against Florida. Kochetkov's efforts helped the Hurricanes grab a 1-0 win, with Sebastian Aho providing the game-winner with 19 seconds left in regulation. The Russian netminder established a franchise record for most saves in a shutout by a rookie goaltender. Kochetkov has dropped only two of his last 11 decisions, improving to 15-9-3 for the year. He has allowed 2.37 goals with a .911 save percentage.
