The Houston Texans are signing veteran safety Adrian Amos ahead of the Week 14 game against the New York Jets. Amos played in 11 games for the Jets this season, compiling 23 tackles and one pass defended. He was released by the organization on December 2 -- just under six months after joining the team on a one-year deal. Now, he'll join a Texans safety group consisting of DeAndre Houston-Carson, Jimmie Ward, and Jalen Pitre. The Texans have allowed the fourth most passing yards per attempt this year (7.7), so this signing is likely an effort to turn things around in the secondary.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerRead More News
