Calgary Flames center Elias Lindholm registered a goal and two assists as the team defeated Vancouver 5-2 on Thursday. The Canucks suffered only their second loss in nine games when Lindholm helped Calgary bounce back from an early deficit. His first assist came when MacKenzie Weegar tied the game at one. Lindholm then logged another helper on Noah Hanifin's game-winning goal, and he wrapped up the scoring himself with an empty-net goal. The big performance snapped a five-game point drought for Lindholm. In fact, the Swedish forward had gone pointless in nine of his previous 10 outings, so he must have been very relieved to have regained his scoring touch Thursday. Despite the very unproductive spell, Lindholm still leads the Flames in scoring, with 11 points (three goals, eight assists) amassed in 16 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
