Toronto Maple Leafs right wing William Nylander continued his dominant start to the season as he scored two goals and added an assist in Friday's 5-4 shootout victory against the Flames. Nylander opened the scoring with a power-play goal that came three minutes into the first period, and he added a short-handed goal after an impressive takeaway to give the Maple Leafs a two-goal advantage at the beginning of the middle frame. Nylander becomes the second active player with a streak of at least 14 points to open a season — joining Oilers center Connor McDavid — who began the 2021-22 campaign with a 17-game point streak. Nylander has provided fantasy managers with first-round value across standard formats, with season totals of nine goals and a team-high 21 points through 14 games.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
