Arizona Coyotes defenseman Travis Dermott (undisclosed) is going to miss time with an injury suffered late in his team's 4-3 shootout win over the visiting Seattle Kraken. Dermott did not appear in the final six minutes of the third period or overtime while defenseman Michael Kesselring was recalled from the AHL's Tucson Roadrunners to take his place on the roster. The veteran is skating in his first season in Arizona and has recorded one assist, 13 shots, and 14 blocks across 10 games while averaging 17:29 of ice time per game. A second-round pick of the Maple Leafs in 2015, Dermott has skated in 289 regular-season games, recording 14 goals and 56 points between the Maple Leafs, Canucks, and Coyotes.--Brenton Kemp
