New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said on Monday that the team was placing center Connor McGovern (knee) and offensive lineman Wes Schweitzer (calf) on Injured Reserve after the suffered injuries in the Week 8 overtime win over the New York Giants. The good news is both players will have a chance to return in 2023, but they'll have to sit out at least four games first. McGovern suffered a dislocated kneecap on Sunday, but there's a chance he could avoid surgery. The Jets' offensive line is a bit vulnerable right now with McGovern, Schweitzer and Joe Tippmann (quadriceps) all injured. Heading into a Week 9 clash against the Los Angeles Chargers next Monday night, Xavier Newman is expected to start at center.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
