New York Jets center Connor McGovern (knee) suffered a dislocated kneecap in the Week 8 win over the New York Giants, according to sources. The good news is that there's a chance that he won't need surgery. McGovern will get a second opinion and is considered week-to-week as of now. The 30-year-old didn't suffer a season-ending injury, but it's a good bet that he will miss some time and won't be available in Week 9 to face the Los Angeles Chargers. The Jets offensive line is pretty banged up right now with Joe Tippmann (thigh) and Wes Schweitzer (calf) also injured. Xavier Newman is likely to start at center for the Jets for as long as McGovern is out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
