During the offseason, Anaheim Ducks goalie Alex Stalock secured a one-year contract valued at $800,000 with the team, intending to add to the team's goaltending depth. However, the 36-year-old will start with the San Diego Gulls in the AHL as the season gets underway. Stalock posted a 9-15-2 record, a save percentage of .908, and a 3.01 goals-against-average while playing for the Blackhawks last season.
