Los Angeles Kings right wing Arthur Kaliyev has been suspended for four games. He will be forced to sit out two preseason games and two regular-season contests for kneeing Anaheim's Chase De Leo in Tuesday's preseason matchup. The incident has unfortunately resulted in an even bigger absence for De Leo, who suffered an MCL sprain and has been ruled out for eight weeks. Kaliyev isn't among L.A.'s big hitters, but he's been a fairly productive player in a limited role and the team definitely would've preferred to have him available for the start of the campaign. Kaliyev put up 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists) in 56 outings last season despite averaging only 11:40 of ice time.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
