Nick Holden Retires From Playing, Joins Golden Knights In Development Role
Defenseman Nick Holden has decided to end his playing career in the NHL and join the Vegas Golden Knights in a development role. The 36-year-old is a former Vegas player and skated for six teams in total during his 12-year career. He spent the last two campaigns with the Ottawa Senators. In 654 career games, Holden registered 52 goals and 126 assists. As a member of the Golden Knights' development staff, Holden is set to work with the franchise's drafted prospects and AHL players, focusing on work with defensemen.
