Ty Gibbs the Obvious DFS Pick at Kansas After Blown Tire in Practice
During practice on Saturday at Kansas Speedway, Ty Gibbs' No. 54 Toyota was one of the fastest on the track, with the rookie posting the 6th-fastest single lap of the session along with the 3rd-fastest ten-lap average. Unfortunately, a blown tire late in practice caused Gibbs to nail the wall, and the team decided to just get the backup car out to race with on Sunday. Gibbs didn't attempt a lap during qualifying on Saturday, and because of that he will have to start from 36th-place when the Hollywood Casino 400 goes green. In DraftKings, this makes the $7,600 driver one of the safest (and most obvious) picks on the slate, as just a top-15 finish would provide DFS players with massive value on Sunday due to the place differential points.
