Dolphins Have Made Trade Offer For Jonathan Taylor
The Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts continue to talk trade regarding running back Jonathan Taylor, with at least one other team also believed to have made a serious offer to acquire the 2021 All-Pro. The Dolphins have made at least one offer that wasn't accepted and they continue to engage the Colts in negotiations, according to a source. The Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears are among other teams that have reportedly expressed interest in Taylor. The Colts are seeking a first-rounder or something comparable in value in exchange, and as of Thursday morning, no team was believed to have met the high asking price. Taylor has a home in South Florida and trains there in the offseason, so he would be happy with a trade to the Dolphins, according to a source. The Colts have given Taylor a deadline of next Tuesday to find a trade, and former Dolphins general manager Mike Tannenbaum thinks a trade is "very, very unlikely" by that date.
