Alex Bregman Blasts Go-Ahead Homer
10 months agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman came up clutch for the team during Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Angels. The Astros entered the eighth inning trailing 7-3 versus All-Star closer Carlos Estevez. They were able to rally and make it 7-5 before Jaime Barria came in for the ninth inning. Houston scored a run off him before Bregman blasted a go-ahead two-run home run to give the Astros the lead. He finished 4-for-5 on the night, which is nice to see given his disappointing season thus far. He's slashing 246/.341/.398 with 13 long balls and 58 RBI.
