The New York Jets and All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams agreed to terms on a four-year, $96 million contract extension on Thursday. It's the second-largest contract ever for a defensive tackle, according to sources. Williams will also receive $66 million in guarantees. The 25-year-old former third overall pick in 2019 gets paid handsomely after a career year in 2022 in which he tallied 55 tackles (35 solo), a career-high 12 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, 28 QB hits, four passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 16 starts. He will continue to be a force on the interior of New York's defensive line for years to come. The Jets defense/special teams unit is one of the best in football and will be a popular selection in fantasy drafts.--Keith HernandezRead More News
