Vegas Golden Knights winger Jonathan Marchessault was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs Tuesday after the team clinched the championship with a 9-3 victory over Florida. Marchessault was limited to just one assist this time around, but he had 25 points in 22 games overall for the postseason, scoring a league-high 13 goals and delivering 12 assists. The former Panther completed the playoffs with a 10-game point streak. Amazingly, he was sitting on only two points through the team's first seven playoff games. The 32-year-old is the first undrafted player to win the Conn Smythe Trophy since Wayne Gretzky in 1988.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
