New York Rangers right wing Patrick Kane has been ruled out for 4-6 months after undergoing a hip resurfacing procedure. Kane's agent Pat Brisson believes that the former MVP will make a full recovery from the surgery. However, it looks like he will miss the start of next season. Kane, who totaled only 57 points in 73 games this season, is a pending unrestricted free agent this summer and it remains to be seen how the surgery will impact his prospects on the open market. Brisson added that Kane, who will turn 35 in November, still "wants to play for a long time".--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
