Jameson Williams Has Made Big Progress

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said on Thursday that second-year wide receiver Jameson Williams is miles ahead of where he was last year in his rookie campaign. In 2022, Williams wasn't able to participate in spring workouts while he was recovering from a torn ACL. It's nice to hear for an extremely talented wide receiver, but the problem in 2023 is that Williams will be suspended for the first six games of the regular season for a violation of the league's gambling policy. The 22-year-old was a popular breakout candidate before the suspension announcement, but he'll still be worth stashing in most fantasy formats. Once his suspension is over, he's expected to be a much bigger part of Detroit's passing game in his sophomore season.
