Tommy Edman Exits Early With Lower Abdomen Soreness
Tommy Edman (abdomen) was removed from Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to lower abdomen soreness. He collided with teammate Lars Nootbaar attempting to catch a fly ball during the third inning. Juan Yepez replaced Edman in his next at-bat. He went 0-for-1 before exiting. The severity of Edman's injury is unknown and is considered day-to-day. Yepez would see an uptick in at-bats if Edman is forced to miss any time. He homered in Thursday's game and is worth a speculative add in deep-league formats while Edman is sidelined.
