Former West Virginia University wide receiver Gary Jennings has been invited for a tryout with the Carolina Panthers. Jennings is available on the open market after the Kansas City Chiefs waived him from Injured Reserve last August due to a concussion. He did not play at all in 2022 and has only one NFL reception, back in his rookie season in 2019 with the Miami Dolphins. The 26-year-old will hope to impress Carolina's coaching staff in order to sign a contract. Even if Jennings lands in Carolina, he's likely to be a long shot to make the active roster out of training camp this summer.--Keith Hernandez
